Service Description

The General Wellness Panel includes a comprehensive set of tests to assess various aspects of a person's health. Here is a breakdown of the different components: CMP 14 (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel 14): This test measures various markers in the blood, including glucose levels, electrolytes, kidney function, and liver function. CBC (Complete Blood Count): This test provides information about different types of cells in the blood, such as red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Lipid Panel w/ Total Cholesterol: This panel measures different types of cholesterol in the blood, such as LDL (bad cholesterol), HDL (good cholesterol), and total cholesterol, which are important for assessing cardiovascular health. LDH (Lactate Dehydrogenase): LDH is an enzyme found in many body tissues. Elevated levels may indicate tissue damage or disease. GGT (Gamma-Glutamyl Transferase): GGT is an enzyme found in the liver. Elevated levels may indicate liver disease or bile duct obstruction. Iron & TBIC (Total Iron Binding Capacity): These tests assess iron levels and the body's ability to transport iron in the blood. They are useful in diagnosing anemia and iron-related disorders. Uric Acid: Uric acid is a waste product formed when the body breaks down purines. High levels may indicate gout or kidney problems. Phosphorus: Phosphorus is an essential mineral that plays a key role in bone health, energy production, and cell signaling. Overall, the General Wellness Panel provides a comprehensive overview of an individual's health status by evaluating key markers related to metabolism, blood count, lipid profile, liver function, iron levels, and other important health parameters.
