An insulin blood test measures the amount of the hormone insulin in your blood, which is crucial for moving sugar (glucose) from your bloodstream into cells for energy; doctors use it to diagnose insulin resistance, find the cause of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), check for pancreatic tumors (insulinomas), and help manage diabetes, often ordered with a glucose test when symptoms of imbalance appear. This is a fasting blood test

New Policy Notice: Booking, Cancellation, and Wait-list Policies Update I am excited to introduce my updated policies for booking, and cancellation of my connected services. Please take note of the following changes: Booking Policy: To secure your appointment, bookings must be made in advance through my online platform or by contacting my office. Walk-in appointments may be accommodated based on availability. All Drug and Alcohol Testing are Walk-in only. For Blood Testing: shortly after you make an appointment and only if you are new to OCCH services you will receive an email coming from my best practice to fill out your consent forms. Please fill them out prior to your appointment. Cancellation Policy: I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. These policies are designed to streamline my services and provide the best experience for all my clients.
