Service Description

A PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood test measures levels of a protein made by the prostate gland, primarily used to screen for prostate cancer, but elevated levels can also signal benign issues like an enlarged prostate (BPH) or prostatitis (inflammation), making it crucial to discuss results with a doctor for context. It helps detect prostate problems early, but a high PSA doesn't always mean cancer, and further tests are needed for diagnosis.

Please take note of the following changes: Booking Policy: To secure your appointment, bookings must be made in advance through my online platform or by contacting my office. Walk-in appointments may be accommodated based on availability. All Drug and Alcohol Testing are Walk-in only. For Blood Testing: shortly after you make an appointment and only if you are new to OCCH services you will receive an email coming from my best practice to fill out your consent forms. Please fill them out prior to your appointment. Cancellation Policy: I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. These policies are designed to streamline my services and provide the best experience for all my clients.
