Service Description

A Cortisol Total Test measures the overall amount of cortisol, a crucial stress hormone made by your adrenal glands, in your blood, urine, or saliva to check for conditions like Cushing's Syndrome (too much cortisol) or Addison's Disease (too little) by seeing if your body produces the right amount. Because cortisol levels naturally rise and fall throughout the day, the test is timing-sensitive, often requiring samples in the morning and evening to check for this daily rhythm.

Please take note of the following changes: Booking Policy: To secure your appointment, bookings must be made in advance through my online platform or by contacting my office. Walk-in appointments may be accommodated based on availability. All Drug and Alcohol Testing are Walk-in only. For Blood Testing: shortly after you make an appointment and only if you are new to OCCH services you will receive an email coming from my best practice to fill out your consent forms. Please fill them out prior to your appointment. Cancellation Policy: I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. These policies are designed to streamline my services and provide the best experience for all my clients.
