Service Description

Fungitell® (1-3)-β-D-Glucan Assay - This assay is used for the qualitative detection of (1-3)-beta-D-glucan, a fungal cell wall antigen, in patients suspected of invasive fungal infection. The serum levels of (1-3)-beta-D-glucan can be used to aid in diagnosing deep-seated mycoses and fungemia and should be used in conjunction with other diagnostic tests and clinical criteria.

Please take note of the following changes: Booking Policy: To secure your appointment, bookings must be made in advance through my online platform or by contacting my office. Walk-in appointments may be accommodated based on availability. All Drug and Alcohol Testing are Walk-in only. For Blood Testing: shortly after you make an appointment and only if you are new to OCCH services you will receive an email coming from my best practice to fill out your consent forms. Please fill them out prior to your appointment. Cancellation Policy: I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee. These policies are designed to streamline my services and provide the best experience for all my clients.
